The crew of Engine 153 made a quick knock on a residential structure fire on Jan. 18 leading to a save by members of the squad.  The fast actions of all crews and the central location of Station 3 helped to save the resident's life.  Had station 3 been moved to the new location proposed by admistration,  first due companies would of been 30-45 seconds later.  Good job shift 1!
